Food Market spring edition at the iconic National Theatre of Catalonia in April. This was the second time this event took place at this unique venue. It hardly needs much of an introduction.
This popular food market festival is for all people passionate about food. It showcases artisans and entrepreneurs of the local gastronomic scene. Who has added value to their communities and that are using raw and locally sourced materials, all ecological and seasonal.

There’s special attention paid to children and Mammaproof Barcelona made sure tiny visitors (age 0-3) had a fun area to rest and play with their parents whenever they feel like it. The “Espacio Family Welcome” is offered in collaboration with el Niu (a family space in Horta).
For older children, there are workshops such as “Creating Your Own Urban Herb Garden” where they learn how to plant strawberries.
The entrance fee to the food market festival was 2 Euros and kids under the age of 12 entered for free.
Pre-book a workshop to avoid queuing at the entrance; entrance fee not included with workshop ticket.
