If you are looking for a nice and family-friendly plan with the kids on a Saturday or Sunday morning, I recommend joining the Pony Riding Class at “Poni Club Catalunya” in Sant Just Desvern (10-15 minutes drive from Barcelona).
Last Sunday we went pony riding for the third time and my son attended a class where children from 3-6 years old get taught how to care for and ride a pony. My son loved it!
The pony riding class starts at 10:30am and lasts for about 1 hour. The first part of the class takes place with an instructor and during the second half, parents can go with their child on a short pony excursion through the nearby fields which is really beautiful – nice views and fresh air!
To join this class you simply call their office in advance and reserve a space for the class (“taller”) at 10:00am & 10:30am on Saturdays or 10:30am on Sundays.
Once you arrive there in the morning you will need to pay 10 Euros for the class at the office and that’s it! Enjoy!
