Last weekend we visited some friends in Sitges and discovered, La Caleta, a good place to have lunch with kids.
Sitges is a famous bohemian coastal town southwest of Barcelona. It is around 20-30 minutes drive by car or train.
The restaurant has amazing sea views, a small playground next to it and everything you would need for the little ones, such as high chairs, a changing table, a small choice of kids’ food and even some cool beach bags for us mums to buy on site.
The menu has a good selection of Mediterranean food, including salads, fresh fish and a variety of different types of paella.
After lunch, we headed down to the beach for some yummy ice cream. I have to mention that it is a naturist beach so this is not for everyone, but the kids surely did not mind and we sat down fully dressed without being uncomfortable. 🙂
This was a good place for a lazy Sunday next to the beach and it is surely also ideal for a drink. We stay long enough to watch the sun go down, but that’s probably more for those without tiny people in tow!
Please note parking close to the restaurant can be tricky as it gets pretty busy around lunchtime. It would make sense to go a bit earlier for a drink and let the kids play a bit before lunch.
