Last month after my son attended a birthday party in Sitges it was decided that we would go for lunch with a group of parents from school right after the celebration.
La Sinia Restaurant had been recommended by a good friend of mine and I must say we were all pleasantly surprised!
The restaurant is located in the heart of the Natural Park of Garraf. It is next to the Camping facilities of El Garrofer. The great location is why they have extensive gardens for kids to run around in. There is also a small playground where they can play while parents can enjoy their meals.
La Sinia restaurant provides the options of a nicely decorated indoor space or a terrace for lovely fresco dining next to the playground. I recommend the terrace when having lunch with little ones. When we arrived they even had live music at the entrance, which was nice too!
They offer Mediterranean cuisine with a good selection of different plates on their menu. Only using mainly fresh produce. I especially liked their choice of desserts: The carrot cake was amazing!
All in all, it was a good experience, the kids had fun and we managed to sit down, enjoy our food and even have adult conversations (something that does not happen much these days! The service was good and not at all slow as we had heard from other parents prior to booking. We will definitely come back for more!
Please note the restaurant gets very busy during the high season. It might be difficult to reserve a table outside, so make sure to book in advance.
